Lancaster schools brace for $35M loan during PA budget standoff

LANCASTER CITY, Pa. (WHP) — The School District of Lancaster said its future could be in jeopardy as it prepares to take out millions of dollars in loans to stay afloat. It comes as the state budget is now 93 days late.

District officials stated that they have no plans to close their doors. However, if a state budget is not finalized by the end of the year, students will lack the necessary resources.
