Caernarvon Township Police Arrest Man After Traffic Stop Uncovers Stolen Vehicle

MORGANTOWN, PA — A routine traffic stop in Caernarvon Township has led to the arrest of a 70-year-old man after police say the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen earlier this year.

According to the Caernarvon Township Police Department, the incident occurred on October 2, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., when officers conducted a traffic stop on a red 2018 Honda CRV traveling along B Avenue near Crossings Boulevard in Berks County.

Police said the vehicle’s registration was found to belong to a 1995 Lincoln, not a Honda CRV. The driver, identified as Edwin Pagan, was reportedly unable to provide valid vehicle documentation. A check of the Honda’s vehicle identification number revealed that it had been listed as stolen in the National Crime Information Center database, following a report filed by Reading City Police in June 2025…
