MORGANTOWN, PA — A 62-year-old man has been charged following an alleged assault earlier this month at the Old Village Inn in Caernarvon Township, according to the Caernarvon Township Police Department.
Authorities said that on October 6, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault at the establishment, located at the intersection of Main Street and Mill Road. Upon arrival, Officer Samuel Frank met with the victim, who reported being attacked by another patron, identified as Anthony Romasco.
According to the police report, the victim stated that Romasco approached him at the bar, called him a derogatory name, and then struck him before grabbing him around the throat.
