Red light cameras coming to Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) — Red light cameras are coming to the Red Rose City.

Lancaster’s City Council unanimously approved the cameras at five locations and additional cameras will be added over time.

The civil fine for running a red light will be $100 but there’s no criminal penalty and there is a 60-day grace period for the first cameras that go up, which will happen next spring…
