Chester County escapee back in police custody after being spotted at Wawa in Phoenixville

A man is back in police custody Friday after escaping earlier this week in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Jairo Eliazar Ramirez-Lima was able to get away from officers early Saturday morning while still wearing handcuffs.

According to East Pikeland Twp. police chief, Ramirez-Lima was spotted at a Wawa on Route 113 in Phoenixville by an officer. He allegedly took off on foot but law enforcement was ultimately able to take him back into custody.
