HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A 42-year-old man faces multiple charges after allegedly assaulting a paramedic while receiving medical assistance following a public intoxication incident in Lower Moreland Township, authorities said.
According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, the incident occurred on Thursday, October 24, when officers responded to reports of a man walking unsteadily in the middle of the roadway in the 100 block of Tomlinson Road. Police identified the man as Oleksandr Zabrodin, who was reportedly stumbling and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance.
During the encounter, Zabrodin allegedly became uncooperative and began to slump, prompting officers to request medical assistance.
