Lebanon County fire department saves a 1,200-pound horse stuck in the mud

A Lebanon County fire department broke into a gallop when it got a call of a horse stuck in the mud on Saturday.

The Palmyra Fire department arrived at a farm field and found a 1,200-pound horse stuck up to its stomach in a pond, according to its Facebook post. The horse, named Dreamer, had escaped his stall at feeding time and wandered off, farm owner Jennifer Hackett wrote in a post. He’s an older Tennessee Walker and is boarded at the farm, according to Hackett.
