Lebanon City to require police approval for stray animal rescues

LEBANON CITY, Pa. (WHTM) — Residents looking to rescue stray animals in Lebanon City soon won’t be able to without approval from police.

The Lebanon City Police Department said Friday it is implementing a new policy requiring residents to complete a drop-off authorization form with the department before taking stray animals to the Humane Society of Lebanon.
