Veteran says Allegiant Airlines refused a refund for a military benefit, until FOX43 Finds Out stepped in

MARIETTA, Pa. — As businesses across the country roll out deals and freebies for veterans this week, one Lancaster County veteran said an airline failed to honor one of those promised benefits, until FOX43 got involved.

Ned Kuhns, a Navy veteran, and his wife were returning home from a Florida vacation when an Allegiant Airlines employee told him he may have missed out on a perk for veterans.

“It looks like you as a veteran paid for baggage. Allegiant Air gives you two bags for free each way, so all four of our bags should have been paid for,” Kuhns said a gate agent told him…
