Police: Lancaster County woman found with 377 baggies of suspected fentanyl at Ephrata Hospital

EPHRATA, Pa. — A Lancaster County woman is facing several drug-related charges after she was found to be in possession of nearly 400 baggies of suspected fentanyl when she was hospitalized earlier this month, authorities claim.

Germaine Marie Bambrick, 49, of Ephrata, is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia following an investigation by Ephrata Police and the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

According to police, Bambrick was brought to the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital Emergency Room by ambulance shortly after midnight on November 1. She was carrying a cream-colored backpack that stayed in the room with her after she arrived, hospital staff told investigators…
