Lancaster man sentenced after robbing pizza delivery driver at gunpoint, stealing car: DA

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster city man has been sentenced up to 13 years in prison after robbing a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint and leading police on a fiery high-speed chase in the stolen vehicle, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

Xavier Velazquez, 19, was sentenced to five to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to a single count of the following after pleading guilty in June 2025:

  • Robbery of a motor vehicle
  • Criminal conspiracy to commit robbery of a motor vehicle
  • Robbery
  • Firearms not to be carried without a license

Officials state that Velazquez and two others robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in the 100 block of East Vine Street in June 2024.
