Raul Lopez-Fargas, 37, was arrested at his home on the 500 block of South Duke Street in Lancaster on Thursday, Nov. 13, and charged with Felony Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Child, Felony Indecent Assault, Felony Corruption of Minors, and Felony Endangering the Welfare of a Child, according to police.
Detective Harry Valverde opened the case in October after a child welfare referral from Lancaster County Children and Youth. Investigators learned that Lopez-Fargas sexually assaulted a 7-year-old girl in 2017, police said.
The child, now older, disclosed during a forensic interview at the Lancaster County Children’s Alliance Center that Lopez-Fargas assaulted her multiple times inside a home on South Duke Street.
