A York County mall was condemned Monday after a wall collapse led to the discovery of numerous code violations that put both customers and employees in danger, officials said.
The decision to shutter the building and the businesses of 16 tenants wasn’t made lightly; rather, it was the result of two years’ worth of unresolved issues that could not be ignored, according to Chris Miller, Hanover’s chief codes enforcement officer.
