Lancaster County restaurant owners sentenced for tax fraud conspiracy

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Three Lancaster County restaurant owners were sentenced last month for tax fraud conspiracy.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Antonios Mountis, 81, and Alexandros Mountis, 52, both of Lancaster, and Kostantinos Mountis, 50, of Lititz, were sentenced on Oct. 7 by United States District Judge Joseph F. Leeson Jr. for the offenses.

Antonios was the president and sole owner of Mountis Enterprises, Inc., doing business as the Conestoga Bar and Grill, as well as Antonios Mountis & Sons, Inc., which did business as the Neptune Diner, according to authorities. His sons, Alexandros and Kostantinos, managed the Conestoga Bar and Grill and the Neptune Diner, respectively. Authorities added that other family members were employed at the restaurants…
