Lancaster County officers obtain life-saving equipment following police shootings in 2025

EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. — After a tragic year for police in south central Pennsylvania that included the deaths of officers in two separate York County incidents, law enforcement agencies have been left wondering how they can better prepare for the worst-case scenario.

The Northern Lancaster Regional Police Department has partnered with the East Petersburg Fire Department to help improve officer safety by placing individual first aid kits in every police cruiser, as well as in fire department vehicles.
