Man sentenced up to 5 years in prison for role in Lancaster stabbing

LANCASTER, Pa. — A man was sentenced for his role in a stabbing in Lancaster last year.

According to the Office of the Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams, Luis Antonio Roman-Irizzary, 46, was sentenced to two to five years in state prison after he pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault and criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

Roman-Irizzary, who was homeless, reportedly armed his co-defendant, Alvin Serrano, with a knife along the first block of North Queen Street on the morning of May 20, 2024. Serrano, 43, then stabbed the victim in the lower back and head the same morning, the Office of the DA said…
