York Co., Woman Accused Of Aiding Fugitive, Waives Hearing

A 21-year-old York County woman, Alexis Moore, has waived her right to a preliminary hearing.  She is accused of aiding Pedro Luis Vega-Rivera, a fugitive, also from York, who allegedly kidnapped his six-month-old daughter.  Moore faces a felony charge of hindering apprehension.  Her case has been moved to the Blair County Court of Common Pleas, where she is scheduled to appear next on January 9.  She is currently being held at the Blair County Prison on $100,000 bail.  The charges stem from a statewide alert issued on November 12, after Vega-Rivera, allegedly strangled the baby’s mother, threatened the child, took the infant, and fled.  State police in Duncansville located the 31-year-old Vega-Rivera after receiving a tip from the state…..
