According to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, three horses on a farm in Lancaster County developed clinical signs of equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1). One horse was euthanized due to severe clinical signs and was not tested. The other two horses tested positive for the disease.
There is no known link between these cases and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association outbreak centered in Waco, Texas.
