LANCASTER, Pa. — Attorney General Dave Sunday announced Wednesday that the owners of a Lancaster day spa have agreed to a settlement after the business allegedly sold gift cards to customers shortly before abruptly closing in June.
Officials said Darbrod Inc., which owned Visage a Visage Day Spa and Salon, violated Pennsylvania consumer protection law by continuing to sell gift cards in the weeks leading up to the permanent shutdown on June 7. The Office of Attorney General said it began investigating after customers reported buying cards shortly before the closure and receiving no response when they sought refunds.
The agreement offers restitution for consumers who purchased gift cards between April 8 and June 7. The agency said customers seeking refunds must file a complaint with the Bureau of Consumer Protection by March 3, 2026…
