On November 26, 2025, the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) graduated 49 new troopers. The ceremony for the 174th Cadet Class took place at LCBC Manheim in Manheim, PA. Commissioner Colonel Christopher Paris led the event and acknowledged the cadets’ completion of nearly 27 weeks of training.
This graduation is part of ongoing efforts to recruit and retain law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania. Since Governor Shapiro took office, funding has been provided for twelve cadet classes. Over 1,000 new state troopers have been trained, and more than 550 cadets have graduated. Funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has also supported the hiring of nearly 700 municipal police officers statewide.
