Shapiro Administration invests $10.5 million to help local business growth

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) announced the approval of nearly $10.5 million to help boost business growth across the Commonwealth.

This investment is in the form of low-interest loans provided through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA). According to DCED, this funding will help boost business growth and create/ retain jobs in Blair, Dauphin, Lancaster, and Snyder counties.

DCED says the projects supported through these loans will inject over $23.2 million into the local economy, create 26 new full-time jobs, and retain 297 existing jobs…
