Firefighters cut roof off of vehicle to free driver in Ephrata crash

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Fire officials had to take apart a vehicle after it flipped on its side, trapping a person in Ephrata.

Emergency crews arrived to the crash around 12:30 p.m. Saturday on East Main Street to find the vehicle, a red colored SUV, on its side with the driver trapped inside.

After stabilizing the car, fire officials had to remove a part of the roof to get the driver.

Officials said the rescue took less than ten minutes…
