York County tax preparer pleads guilty to bank fraud

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A York County tax preparer pleaded guilty to bank fraud in connection with multiple fraudulent Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan applications that were filed through his business and with his approval.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Dommonick Chatman, 50, admitted that he either participated in preparing or approved of another employee’s preparation of fraudulent PPP loan applications for nearly 20 different individuals in 2021.
