The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, 866-366-3723, uses a risk-based inspection reporting process for restaurants and other food handlers.

Bravo Supermarket, 225 W. King St. Lancaster, Complaint, December 5. Pass. Commercially processed ready-to-eat food, located in the reach-in cooler, and held more than 48 hours, is not being marked with the date it was opened.

Burger King #817, 2370 S. Market St. Elizabethtown, December 5. Pass. Exposed food preparation observed in sandwich assembly area under dirty ventilation ducts, and subject to potential contamination. Food facility does have sanitizer to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration; however, these are not compatible for the sanitizer in use.
