Museum Food Drive Shatters Goal, Delivers Nearly 800 Pounds to County Food Bank

WEST CHESTER, PA — The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center turned a modest November food drive into a major windfall for families in need, collecting 787 pounds of non-perishable food for the Chester County Food Bank — more than 15 times its original goal.

The museum had set a target of 50 pounds of donated food for the month, but community response far exceeded expectations. Donations were delivered to the food bank this week, capping off a campaign museum officials said was driven by strong public participation and a simple incentive.
