Sadie Marie Ressler, 31, of Wiconisco Township (Dauphin County), has been charged following the Aug. 14 incident, which left a 10-month-old girl dead and placed a 2-year-old child in danger, according to state police.
Troopers from PSP-Lykens responded to a report of an unresponsive child in Wiconisco Township on Thursday, Aug. 14, police said. The infant was transported to Harrisburg Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The case was jointly investigated by the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office, the Dauphin County Child Abuse Team, Dauphin County Children and Youth Services, and Pennsylvania State Police.
