More than $1 million in gold stolen from Lancaster County couple

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– The Pennsylvania State Police is investigating after more than $1 million in gold was stolen from two elderly Pennsylvanians in Lancaster County earlier this month.

State Police said on December 1, an unknown actor posting as a Social Security Administration employee contacted one of the 78-year-old victims from New Providence, Pennsylvania, and told them their Social Security number had been compromised.
