(WHTM) — What happens when almost everyone at a local company donates to help the homeless and others in need? You get a $35,000 check.
SWS Packaging announced it raised over $30,000, the largest amount in its history for Lifepath Christian Ministries, which is providing resources to homeless families and individuals throughout York County.
“This is something that just definitely needed to be done because the homeless community is growing,” said Cynde Main, business manager at SWS Packaging. “The needs of our community are growing, so to be able to support that and help the community in that way, there are just no words.
