RISING SUN — A woman remained jailed Thursday after she allegedly stabbed an intervening man in the chest while she was attacking her sister with a knife inside a Rising Sun residence, according to Cecil County District Court records.
The defendant — Janet Elizabeth Wright, 46 — also stands accused of struggling with a law enforcement officer who was trying to arrest her. During that struggle with Wright, the officer suffered a cut to his hand, court records allege.
Court records indicate that the incident occurred at approximately 1 p.m. on Tuesday at a residence in the 400 block of Ryan Drive, where Wright allegedly attacked her sister when her sister asked if she “intended to look for a job” as Wright prepared to leave the residence…
