Brown Bat found in Lancaster EMS building taken to wildlife center in ambulance

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Raven Ridge Wildlife Center (RRWC) experienced a first, welcoming a patient who arrived in an ambulance.

The wildlife center said it received a call about a bat that was found in the bay at the EMS building in Lancaster City. The bat, a young female Brown Bat, was said to be lost and in need of help. She was secured in a box and taken to the cente,r where she was placed in the care of a bat rehabilitator on site.

The bat will spend the winter at the wildlife center, where she will be safe and warm. The center confirmed that the bat was found a little underweight…
