Authorities haven’t ID’d man found dead in burning Pa. home

EASTTOWN — The mystery deepens as officials remain mum on the name of a man who was found dead in a basement on Foxwood Lane last weekend during a fire call.

“The Easttown Township Police and the Chester County Fire Marshal’s Office are the lead investigators into the cause of the fire,” said a spokesperson on Friday for the office of Chris de Barrena-Sarobe, the Chester County district attorney.

“The decedent is unidentified, pending scientific identification. The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation,” said Sophia Garcia-Jackson, Chester County coroner, on Friday…
