Pennsylvania state officials visited Lancaster on Monday to announce a nearly $150 million investment in the Commonwealth’s science industry.
Gov. Josh Shapiro was joined by Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) Secretary Rick Siger for a visit to Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories in Upper Leacock Township. The company’s 49-acre campus on New Holland Pike will soon feature a new 300,000-square-foot laboratory and office expansion, funded by a public-private partnership.
“Pennsylvania is a leader in life science innovation, and major investments like this from Eurofins are supporting the continued growth of this critically important industry,” Shapiro said. “We have the strategic location, robust research infrastructure and skilled workforce that help biotech companies deliver timely therapies to patients and make the world healthier and safer.”…
