York County police department handing out $100 bills

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A much-needed boost in holiday cheer has one York County police department handing out $100 bills.

A friend of the Northern York County Regional Police Department donated $10,000 in $100 bills, said Chief David Lash. He’s instructed officers to hand them out in envelopes to people in the community who may need some holiday cheer.
