(WHTM) – York County Sheriff’s Office Lt. David Godfrey shared new details on the September shooting that took the lives of three Northern York County Regional Police Officers and left him and another officer injured in September.
York County Emergency Management shared that Godfrey visited them on Tuesday and recounted the shooting, during which he was shot eight times and had settled with the idea that he would not survive the ambush. He said the only thing that kept him going was the voices of his deputies.
