Lancaster couple allegedly beat children with extension cord, curtain rod, DA says

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A couple charged with beating two children will have their cases moved to county court after waiving their preliminary hearings.

31-year-old Gebron Lamont Reid and 29-year-old Maline Ounn, both of 600 block of East King Street in Lancaster city, were both charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children and two counts of simple assault. Ounn has also been charged with a single count of terroristic threats.

Reid has been accused of screaming and threatening an assistant district attorney during a preliminary hearing on Oct. 6. He was charged with retaliation against a prosecutor or judicial official and terroristic threats after the incident…
