Jose Fernandez-Martinez, 30, was arrested after Oxford police were dispatched to the 400 block of Hodgson Street for a reported domestic disturbance just after 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, according to the release.
A female victim told officers she had been struck in the shoulder during the dispute. She and her teenage son also reported that Fernandez-Martinez threatened to kill both of them and a small female child before fleeing the residence after a 911 call, police said.
