Parents charged after 7-year-old suffers seizure, tests positive for cocaine

An Ephrata couple have been charged with child endangerment after police say cocaine was found in their 7-year-old son’s system after the child suffered a seizure at their home.

Ephrata police charged Elizabeth Amanda Nolan, 30, and Angelo Louie-Patri Zeno, 31, with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment after their son was hospitalized and found to have cocaine in his system in November 2024.

The boy was transported to WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital on Nov. 19, 2024, after falling unconscious and having a seizure, according to a criminal complaint filed by police on Friday…
