Two Days of Crime, Crashes, and Chaos Rock Wyomissing Streets

WYOMISSING, PA — A wide range of alleged criminal, safety, and emergency incidents kept Wyomissing Police busy across January 6 and January 7, 2026, as officers responded to reports ranging from stolen vehicles and assaults to fraud, suspicious activity, and multiple traffic collisions, according to department blotter records.

Police began the two-day period shortly after midnight on January 6 with a reported stolen vehicle on Park Road North, which was later located in neighboring West Reading by West Reading Police that night, authorities said.

Later that morning, officers were dispatched to Museum Road for two separate incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis, one of which resulted in the individual being transported to a hospital and the other involving a subject being returned to a nursing facility…
