PENNSYLVANIA, USA — A word popping up across social media — “scromiting,” a mix of screaming and vomiting — is bringing renewed attention to a real medical condition doctors say may be linked to heavy cannabis use.
The condition is formally known as cannabis hyperemesis syndrome, a disorder seen in people who use cannabis frequently over long periods of time.
