YEADON, Pa. — The Delaware County cemetery that was the alleged target of several break-ins by a Lancaster County man charged with stealing human remains is seeking donations to help fund new security measures.
According to a post made on the Mount Moriah Cemetery & Arboretum’s Facebook page by John R. Schmehl Jr., president of the Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery, the funds would help the organization install a new perimeter fence around the grounds.
The cemetery has installed security cameras, made repairs to other portions of perimeter fencing, and will be patrolling the grounds after dark in an effort to prevent “unauthorized activity,” Schmehl’s post said…
