Woman rescued after accidentally driving through garage wall in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Firefighters rescued a driver Tuesday morning who became trapped after she accidentally drove through the back of her garage.

Police and fire crews were called to the home in the first block of South Penryn Road in Penn Township around 11 a.m. for reports of a vehicle into a building, according to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department.

Crews arrived on scene to find an elderly woman had accidentally driven through the back of her garage while trying to move her trash cans.

After the woman was freed from her vehicle, the Penryn Fire Department stayed on scene to help assess the structural damage…
