Lancaster County man charged with rape, indecent assault of minors

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County man is in custody after being charged with sexually assaulting two young girls repeatedly over the last 12 years.

Carlos Jimenez-Venegas, 44, of New Holland faces several charges, including rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor.

According to an affidavit written by police, the two victims reported the alleged assaults to Pennsylvania State Police in Lancaster in December. One of the victims told police that Jimenez-Venegas had raped her around 30 times between 2014 and 2019, when she was between 9-years-old and 14-years-old…
