Kindu Pollard, who is listed as homeless, was charged with the following, court records show:
- Felony Aggravated Assault.
- Felony Endangering Welfare Of Child.
Police said Lancaster City Bureau detectives were called to Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after the infant was transferred there from Lancaster General Hospital, where doctors observed “bilateral subconjunctival hemorrhage,” facial petechiae on the baby’s left cheek, and a right anterior thigh bruise, according to the affidavit.
The baby’s biological mother was interviewed and said the infant was in Pollard’s care from Tuesday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 13 at Pollard’s home on the 700 block of Stevens Avenue, police wrote.
