York Mayor Sandie Walker has announced her cabinet reappointments, including appointing herself to serve as interim business manager pending a search for a candidate for the job, according to a news release.
“Each member of this team has been carefully chosen for their expertise and successful leadership related to the City of York’s highest prioritized needs,” the mayor was quoted as saying in the release. “While some of these roles are interim, this is the first step in building a strong administration dedicated to the well-being of every resident of the City of York.”
Several key positions were unchanged from the previous administration, including Police Commissioner Michael Muldrow, Fire Chief Bill Sleeger Jr. and Deputy Chief Adam Smith.
