Crews in Berks County respond to 12 car pileup amid snowy conditions

BERKS COUNTY, Pa. — State police are investigating a pileup involving a dozen vehicles that shut down part of Interstate 78 in Greenwich Township on a snowy Saturday morning.

According to Trooper Ethan Brownback, the crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. and involved four commercial vehicles and eight passenger cars. Emergency crews worked to free trapped occupants and provided medical care at the scene. The number of people injured was not immediately released…
