Kathleen Elicker, 61, of West Chester, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 15, and charged with taking funds from the Coatesville Area Teachers Association (CATA) during the 2019–2020 through the 2022–2023 school years, authorities said.
Elicker was charged with:
- Felony Theft By Failure To Make Required Disposition Of Funds.
- Misdemeanor Receiving Stolen Property.
- Misdemeanor Theft By Unlawful Taking Or Disposition.
Elicker stole the funds while working as CATA treasurer and negotiations chair during the 2019–2020 through the 2022–2023 school years, according to the DA.
