LANCASTER, Pa. — Lancaster Central Market announced it will be closed Tuesday as efforts to clear the city’s streets of snow continue.
The announcement was posted on the Market’s website Monday afternoon.
“At the time of this announcement there is still an active snow emergency in the City of Lancaster, and much of the area around Lancaster is still treacherous for our vendor’s large trucks and other traffic,” the announcement said. “Our standholders rely on the day before Market to bake, cook, prep, and transport cartloads of goods, and many of our businesses were simply unable to safely do so today…
