Lancaster County man charged with weapons of mass destruction after explosives seized

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Explosives were seized from a Lancaster County home last week, investigators said, leading to a felony weapons of mass destruction charge being filed.

Scott Boley, 56, of Narvon, also faces a misdemeanor charge of prohibited possession after allegedly admitting to investigators he had explosives, according to court documents.

Boley told Troopers he would buy parts of “Potassium Perchlorate” and “aluminum powder” online, which were noted in the criminal complaint that, when combined, they would create a mixture that burns fast and provides fuel for combustion…
