Stephanie D. Corum, 50, of Nottingham, was fatally injured in the two-vehicle collision on Gum Tree Road west of Acker Road in Highland Township, according to the release.
The crash happened at approximately 2:12 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, as both vehicles were traveling downhill on Gum Tree Road, troopers said.
Investigators determined a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling eastbound began to skid while descending the hill and crossed into the westbound lane, where it struck a 2002 Chevrolet Astro van head-on.
