Inmate dies after being found unresponsive in Lancaster County Prison

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An inmate is dead after he was found unresponsive in a Lancaster County Prison cell, according to a news release.

Around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, correctional staff found the inmate in his cell and promptly called for prison medical staff. The inmate regained consciousness and was rushed to Lancaster General Health Penn Medicine.
